TODAY AND TONIGHT SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL ACCOMPANY A WEAK FRONTAL BOUNDARY THAT WILL BE MOVING ACROSS SOUTHEAST TEXAS DURING THE DAY TODAY.

LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE…WITH MOST AREAS RECEIVING 1/4 TO 1/2 INCH. SOME ISOLATED SPOTS COULD RECEIVE 1 AND 3 INCHES. .

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…

SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP THROUGH SOUTHEAST TEXAS DURING THE DAYTIME HOURS ON MONDAY. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ALONG AND AHEAD OF THE FRONT…AND SOME COULD BECOME STRONG OR SEVERE MAINLY ALONG AND NORTH OF A LINE FROM MADISONVILLE TO LIVINGSTON.

THE MAIN SEVERE WEATHER THREATS WILL BE DAMAGING WINDS…ISOLATED TORNADOES…AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL. FOR THE COASTAL WATERS…GALE FORCE WIND GUSTS WILL BE POSSIBLE MONDAY NIGHT. .
