THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* A PORTION OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING
  COUNTIES...AUSTIN...BRAZORIA...CHAMBERS...COLORADO...FORT
  BEND...GALVESTON...HARRIS...JACKSON...LIBERTY...MATAGORDA...
  MONTGOMERY...WALLER AND WHARTON.

* UNTIL 1 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON

* GROUNDS ARE SATURATED FROM THE PAST SEVERAL DAYS OF RAINFALL
  AND MORE SUSCEPTIBLE TO FLASH FLOODING WHEN ADDITIONAL
  MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINS OCCUR.

* ADDITIONAL RAINFALL HAS DEVELOPED OVER MAINLY THE EASTERN HALF
  OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS. AREAL COVERAGE AND RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE
  EXPECTED TO BE SLIGHTLY LESS THAN WHAT WAS OBSERVED ON THURSDAY
  MORNING...ALTHOUGH THE THREAT FOR FLASH FLOODING WILL CONTINUE
  TO EXIST DUE TO THE HEAVY RAINS THAT HAVE FALLEN OVER THE PAST
  SEVERAL DAYS.

 THE AREAS OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS THAT WILL BE MOST AT RISK FOR
 FLASH FLOODING FRIDAY MORNING WILL BE PORTIONS OF
 HARRIS...MONTGOMERY...AND WALLER COUNTIES THAT HAVE SEEN
 RAINFALL TOTALS IN EXCESS OF 10 INCHES OVER THE PAST TWO DAYS.
 THERE IS ALSO A RISK OF FLASH FLOODING ACROSS PORTIONS OF
 SOUTHEAST TEXAS NEAR MATAGORDA BAY THAT RECEIVED HEAVY RAINFALL
 ON WEDNESDAY...ALTHOUGH THE THREAT FOR PRECIPITATION APPEARS TO
 BE SOMEWHAT LOWER ACROSS THIS REGION.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.
