The Old River-Winfree Community Hall is decorated to the hilt thanks to City Secretary, Linda Murphy and her team.  They have been working hard to get ready for the arrival of Santa Claus, who, as usual in Old River-Winfree, is bring his wife, Mrs. Claus!

Everything is ready for them.  The decorations are superb and festive.  Free Pizza provided by Old River-Winfree local business; Simple Simon’s Pizza, gifts from Santa, and cookies that look delicious!

A festive atmoshere will prevail AND it is all FREE for the Community of Old River-Winfree.

Saturday Night 6:30 p.m.

Sunday marks the rescheduled “Christmas on the Hill” presented by the Parks & Recreation Department of Mont Belvieu.  The Parade is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m.

Boyce Morris, Becky Morris, and family have been working feverishly to get the float ready for all the pomp and circumstance on Sunday.

A preview of the float brought ooohhs and aaaahhs from all.  The Float is sponsored by our own Old River-Winfree Founders Day and will carry the 2011 West Chambers County Natural Beauty Pageant Winners.  The float is absolutely stunning and our town should be very proud of our representation in the Parade!

Both of these events highlight the “Small Town With a Big Heart”, Old River-Winfree.  Community pride at its best!

Be sure and attend the Christmas Party Saturday Night and then the Parade at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday!
