Texas Governor Rick Perry meets with Representative Craig Eiland & Chambers County officials at the Texas State Capitol on February 16th, 2011
Pastor Biddy wrote: ”On Wednesday February 16th, 2011, I had the privilege of presenting one of my hand-made pocket knives to Gov. Rick Perry and also one to Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst. Our county asked me to make them as gifts on Chambers County Day in Austin. I used alligator jawbone for the handles since Chambers County is the ‘Gator Capital of Texas.’ “

Pastor of Old River Baptist Church, Danny Biddy, presents Rick Perry with one of his famous knives he makes himself.

Members of the Church reported that this knife was made of cedar and as Governor Perry caught a whiff of it, the Governor said it reminded him of the little country church he grew up in and still visits, when he can, to this day.
